The panel will focus on building competencies and industrial capabilities in the fields of space and defense technologies, with particular emphasis on satellite reconnaissance systems, cybersecurity, and strategic supply chains. The discussion will also address the importance of autonomous Earth observation and data acquisition capabilities for national security, as well as the role of European cooperation in strengthening resilience and reducing dependence on technologies from outside the EU.
