Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka

Undersecretary of State, Government Plenipotentiary for the Security Action for Europe Instrument

In 2016-2018, she worked at the European Commission in Brussels, specializing in economic topics, defense and space policy. Previously, she was a correspondent of "Wiadomości" TVP in Brussels, a reporter of Panorama TVP2 and "Wydarzeń" Polsat. She reported on national and international politics, including: elections in the US, terrorist attacks in Paris and Brussels, EU summits and Brexit.

In the years 2019-2023, she was the head of the team of advisors to Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, and in 2020, the head of staff in his presidential campaign.

On January 4, 2024, appointed Undersecretary of State in the European Union Affairs Division.

In October 2025, she was appointed Government Plenipotentiary for the Security Action for Europe Instrument.
