Łukasz Kotapski is an experienced manager, legal advisor, and capital markets expert whose key areas of expertise include investment management, structuring financial transactions, and building relationships with domestic and foreign investors. He combines legal expertise with practical experience in managing corporate assets and resources, enabling him to effectively align business strategy with the legal and financial optimization of projects.
As a Venture Capital Fund Manager, he was responsible for investment strategy, portfolio management, and investor relations, effectively combining his knowledge of commercial law with capital market practice. Previously, as a legal advisor, he advised on Venture Capital/Private Equity transactions, negotiating the terms of investment agreements and optimizing financing structures.
In his roles as CEO of asset management companies and Managing Partner at a law firm, he oversaw corporate projects, including mergers and acquisitions, bond issuances, and corporate restructurings. His experience also includes comprehensive advisory services in commercial law, labor law, intellectual property law, and innovation financing, which has enabled him to support both rapidly growing startups and mature enterprises. He has led numerous legal projects involving the acquisition and sale of shares in companies, granting loans, mezzanine financing, and negotiating the terms of term sheets and investment agreements.
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration and the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science at the University of Warsaw, as well as the Executive MBA program at Kozminski University. As a scholarship recipient, he developed his skills at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and the Complutense University of Madrid. He is a licensed legal advisor and a member of the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Warsaw, with over 12 years of experience in providing legal counsel to entities in the venture capital, private equity, and technology sectors.
Currently, as Vice President of the Management Board of ARP S.A., he is responsible, among other things, for overseeing ARP S.A.’s branches, developing the special economic zones managed by ARP S.A., supervising technology companies in ARP S.A.’s portfolio (including those in the space sector), and the DIG.IT project. He focuses on strengthening the company’s market position, building long-term relationships with business partners, and implementing key development initiatives.
